Specialists from “RosCo” company took part in the round table of representatives of foreign companies and law firms with top officials and specialists from state authorities of Russian Federation

A meeting between the representatives of foreign partner organizations of Russian Chambers, offices of foreign companies and law firms with top officials and specialists from state authorities of Russian Federation took place in the Congress Center of Commerce and Industry Chamber of Russian Federation.

The foreign partner organizations were represented by German-Russian Chamber of Export Commerce, Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, Russo-British Chamber of Commerce, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, US Chamber of Commerce, Norway-Russia Chamber of Commerce, Commerce and Industry Chamber of Paris, etc.

The state authorities were represented at the event by the top officials and specialists from the Federal Migration Service of Russia, Presidential Administration of Russian Federation, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russian Federation.

The issues discussed at the meeting concerned the registration of offices of foreign firms by state authorities and exercising labor activities within Russian Federation by the foreign personnel of the representative offices.

Following the results of this event, proposals will be submitted to corresponding ministries and authorities. Specifically, proposals were prepared for the simplification of the registration procedure for the representative offices of foreign companies and removal of excessive bureaucratic functions. Besides that, a decision was made to prepare a proposal which would legalize the right of expatriate employees of representative offices of foreign firms the right to engage in labour activities in Russian Federation without obtaining work permits.

154 representatives from more than 100 foreign companies and law firms attended the meeting.
