Sinopec corporation has assigned the audit of its Russian representative office to “RosCo” company

The agreement for audit of the representative office activity in Russia to be made by one of the Chinese Sinopec corporation companies has been entered into.

Sinopec with its staff of about 400 000 people is the largest company of the People’s Republic of China, the shares of which are listed on the stock exchange, and also the second largest oil and gas company of the country after PetroChina as measured by output.

Among the main activities of the corporation established in 2000 there are exploration and development of oil and gas fields, refining and sale of oil, natural gas, production and sale of petrochemical products.

The corporation has implemented a score of successful projects, in particular provision the Eastern China provinces with gas, construction of oil and ethylene refinery plants on the territory of the PRC. Since 2006, as a result of the joint deal of acquisition with   OJSC Oil Company “Rosneft”, the corporation has been in possession of 49% of the OJSC “Udmurtneft” shares.

As of 2014 Sinopec occupies the 3rd place in Fortune Global 500, the ranking of the top 500 corporations worldwide as measured by revenue.
