What payments are due to employees at the liquidation of organization?

At discharge in connection with the liquidation the employer is obliged to pay to the employee:

- Wages for the days actually the employee worked in the month of discharge;

- Compensation for unused vacation time;

- Dismissal pay.

Dismissal pay is paid to the dismissed employee at the rate of average monthly earnings. Average monthly earnings are also reserved for employee during the period while he|she is looking for a new job, but not more than 2 months from the discharge day (taking into account the dismissal pay). In exceptional cases average monthly earnings are reserved for discharged employee during the third month from the discharge day. This payment is realized by the employer according to the decision of population placement service authority under the condition that the employee applied to this authority during 2 weeks after discharge and wasn’t placed in a job.
